Snowflake Splendor Suite Photo Presentation

This past weekend I had the opportunity to participate in the Creative Connections 2020 Virtual Event.  The organizers of this event Terri Gaines, Susan Campfield and Georgia Giguere were amazing and did an awesome job!  Thank you ladies, you are the best of the best.

As you can see in the picture above, I volunteered to make 8 projects using the Snowflake Splendor Suite.  I am always willing to share my projects, however it is a bit nerve racking when it is your peers and colleagues who are immensely talented that you are presenting to.

Here are the projects I presented.  I hope you find inspiration and interest in this beautiful Snowflake Splendor Suite from the 2020 August-December Mini by Stampin’Up!

The first project uses a Whisper White Mini Pizza Box (144645) layered and wrapped with the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper (153513) , topped with the filigree snow flake from the So Many Snowflakes die (153560).  Of course you always have to add some more glimmer using the Whale of Time sequins (152461).  The bow is from the Snowflake Splendor 1/4″ ribbon (153548), and is really hard to capture the beauty of this ribbon in pictures.  It is an iridescent ribbon with metallic thread woven throughout.  Gorgeous!

A perfect treat bag for the holidays!  The second project uses the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags (153509).   These bags are a really great size measuring 4″ x 7″ with a whopping 25 per pack!  I should also mention these are food safe, so perfect to fill with holiday baked goodies.

I lined the bag using a piece of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (153512) measuring 3 3/4″ x 12″ and added the arrangement of the Snowflake Splendor Dies using Whisper White and Balmy Blue cardstock an added sparkle to the center using the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems (153547).  To finish the bag I punched two holes to thread the Faux Linen Ribbon and tied with a bow!  You will love how crisp and easy this ribbon is for tying.

Next up is project number 3.  This card was super fun and easy and uses a very versatile fun fold.

For the fold, I simply started with an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Pool Party cardstock, scored at 4 1/2″.  Cutting 1″ from the right side of the front flap.  The Whisper White matting measures 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ and 1 1/8″x 5 3/8″.  The beautiful Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1″ x  5 1/4″.  The sentiment is stamped using Pool Party ink with the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and die cut using the Tasteful Labels Dies (152886).  The snowflake medallion was added with a sprinkling of the rhinestone basic jewels and tied with a piece of the Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon (152462)

Project number 4 was probably the most fun and challenging in that I used the Shimmery White  Embossing Paste (145645) colored with a few drops of the Highland Heather ink refill (147167) and stenciled through a die cut piece of cardstock.  I love the effect!

I stenciled onto a Whisper White notecard (131527) allowing it a 30 minute dry time.  The purple Tricolor Ribbon (149708) was the perfect compliment.  I then decorated one of the Whisper White Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes (153069) adding another sparkly stenciled snowflake backed by the beautiful Square Vellum Doilies (152484) for the win.  Filled the box with 4 of the note cards and envelopes and can’t wait to give it to a friend,

The next card, project number 5 is very similar to the Mini Pizza Box except I used the Rainbow Glimmer Paper (153056) as the backing for the filigree snowflake die.  The colors are Pool Party for the matte and sentiment with another snowflake cut from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper for embellishment.

Project number 6 has LOTS of snowflakes and I used the snowflake cut-out die and then die cut again using the largest of the Stitched Nested Label Dies (1496380).  The die cut piece is them popped up on dimensionals and adorned with many snowflakes in coordinating colors and sprinkled with the Snowflake Adhesive-Backed Sequins (153545) and the Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems.  I think this is my favorite….  Sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink.

Project number 7 is a card that rates right up there also in the “fav” category.  The vellum and Whisper White alternating snowflake medallion is stunning when centered  with the die from the Painted Labels Dies (153827).  I really like the matted DSP layers using the Misty Moonlight cardstock and ink for the sentiment.  Quick and Easy with a lot of dimension.

And finally, at project number 8!  Thank you Snow Much for visiting my blog today and I hope I was able to inspire you with the many creating possibilities of the Snowflake Splendor Suite by Stampin’Up!
