Well it is another dreary day in Minnesota, so it makes for a fantastic day to spend in my craft room working on this weeks Paper Players Sketch challenge.
As you may or may not know, the NEW Annual Catalog by Stampin’Up! debuted on June 4th. I have lots of new stampin’ stash that has just been calling my name. If you do not have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the catalog, please comment and I will send one right out to you.
The sketch challenge for this week looks like this:
Here is my take on the sketch. One of my grand-daughters loves, loves, loves dinosaurs, and I love her to pieces…. and that is what generated the idea for a confetti filled card. I used really bright and cheerful colors, just like her. And the Designer Series Paper is sized to the dies for the “long neck”. I am certain she will love it!
I also want to show you the inside of the card filled with heart confetti using the Stitched Be Mine dies. I can just hear her say, “Oh Grandma” when she opens it!
Thank you for visiting my blog. I love comments…..
Here is the list of products used to create her card:

This week I am playing along with The Paper Players PP442 which is a Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Laurie.
The idea is to use minimal layers and embellishments and leave a lot of open space…..
I decided to use a past Paper Pumpkin stamp set called Grown with Kindness. I just love the succulent sitting in a teacup. If you are not a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin, I highly suggest giving it a try. It is perfect for every level of crafter and comes right to your mailbox . You will want to subscribe before June 1st using host code FMUGQV66, and be sure to go with the pre-paid to save a few dollars, as the prices are going up after the 1st. Regardless, it is a fabulous value.
Here’s my creation for the challenge. Be sure to comment as I love hearing from you!
Here is the list of supplies from my online store used to make this project.

Make it a great day!
I have finally caught up after our wonderful vacation to Puerto Morelos, Mexico. It was sunny, relaxing and just plain beautiful. Here is a sampling of our view, blessed…
Now for this week’s challenge over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com
Here is my creation playing with Plaid or Checks. I love this Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper Stack. The colors are beautiful and one side is large checks and the other is small. I also used the Jars of Love stamp set that coordinates with the Everyday Jars Framelits. A Big Shot and dies make creating so easy… I hope you like my interpretation for the PP436 challenge. Please comment, I love hearing from you!
Here are the products I used to create this project. If you would like to order any or all of these products, just click on the product to be directed to my online store.
